During the convocation chapel, I asked students to be more intentional
in their relationships. This is a follow up to that address. I will
briefly recap the value of rituals and being physically and emotionally
"present" in our relationships and ask students (in groups around
tables) to reflect upon the "one thing" that they decided to do in order
to be more intentional about their relationships. Each table will have a
student or Residence Life facilitator to help guide the reflections.
Then, after discussing how people are progressing on their own
intentionality (in expressing "love to one another"), I will briefly
present new information on the research on the importance of prayer for
relationships. I will end by again charging students to continue to be
intentional in their relationships as they live out God's mandate to
"love one another."
