Our goal for this
forum is for students to walk away with a better picture of the student
experience, and to have the sense that they belong to a community that
is more than the sum of its parts. We hope this forum will provide the
space for people to hear and be heard, and to move slightly closer to
the kind of love that Jesus shows through the parable of the Good
Samaritan. Through the illustration of the Good Samaritan shared by Ben
Taylor, we will incorporate what it means to be a good neighbor, and
hopefully instill in students an ethic of responsibility, leadership,
and service. At the event, students will hear from a variety of campus
leaders including President Phipps, Provost Basinger, Mark Wirtz, and
Faith Minnich regarding changes coming to various departments on campus.
There will be no Q&A during the forum itself, but afterwards
students will have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with the
presenters about the changes and how they can become better neighbors
within our campus. Thank you for your consideration!
